Attica -- Funeral services for Charles Francis Anno, age 64, a resident of Attica for the past 36 years, who died Wednesday night, Jan. 23, at his home, 1101 S. Brady St., were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the DeSutter Funeral Home. The Rev. David Lange officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Anno was born in Warren County, Sept. 23, 1898, the son of Henry and Margaret Odle Anno. He was married April 17, 1926 in Covington to Ruby Mortimore, who survives. He had been employed as a grinder at the Harrison Steel Foundry for 40 years before his retirement a year ago. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Attica Christian Church. He had been ill a year. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: two sons, Harold of Attica and Keith of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Weaver of Covington; one brother, Cecil of Bowerston, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Sharp of Lafayette, Mrs. Edgar Quinton of Cuero, Tex., and Mrs. Reed Berryman of Jackson, Mich., and seven grandchildren.

Attica - Charles Francis Anno, 64, died in his home 1101 S, Brady at 7 p.m. Wednesday. He had been in failing health several months. Born in Warren County, he was employed by the Harrison Steel Casting Co for 40 years before his retirement last year because of his health. He had lived in his late home for 36 years. Mr. Anno was married to Ruby Mortimore at Covington in 1926 and was a veteran of WWI and member of the Christian Church. Surviving with the widow are two sons, Harold of Attica and Keith of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Weaver of Covington, a brother, Cecil of Bowerston, Ohio and three sisters, Mrs Ray Sharpe of Lafayette; Mrs. Edgar Quinton of Cureo, Tex and Mrs. Reid Barryman of Jackson, Mich. - kbz
